The sound of Californian rock-surfing was key for the Colombian rocker’s imaginary since the 60s. Two decades later the post-punk and the showgaze would give new indie airs in Colombia. This influenced Miguel Laverde and Pablo Melo who together with Juan Pablo Pineda and Rodrigo Canal form SAAIL, the response from Medellín to old Indie rock. SVRF was their first album, a mix of dark sounds with rocky vibes that have resulted in songs like “Lovetrap”, “Lord of The Waves” and more.
