Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. Strong words to name the first Arctic Monkeys album, the most important record debut for a UK band in the last two decades. Since the 2006 Alex Turner’s band, Matt Helders, Jamie Cook and Nick O’Malley have emerged as one of the latest great acts of contemporary rock: twice headliners of the Glastonbury Festival, 20 NME Awards, seven BRIT Awards, and three nominations to the Grammy. After five years of silence, the Monkeys launched Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino on May 11 this year, the album that brings them to Colombia for the second time. In the mean time we have been able to enjoy jewels like “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor”, “Fluorescent Adolescent”, “Crying Lightning”, “Brick by Brick”, “Do I Wanna Know” and more. The most powerful rock of our days celebrating the tenth anniversary for Un Mundo Distinto at FEP 2019.
